1. India’s first Dolphin Research Centre

• The foundation stone of India’s first Dolphin Research Centre will be laid in Patna.
• The South Asian river dolphin is an endangered freshwater or river dolphin found in the region of South Asia which is split into two subspecies, the Ganges river dolphin and the Indus river dolphin.

2. Operation Thirst

• Railway Police Force has launched ‘Operation Thirst’ with a aim to crack down selling of Unauthorized Packaged Drinking Water.

• Fuzhou of Chine will host the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee in 2020.

• USA and Australia will have a joint Military Exercise named ‘Talisman Sabre’ in Queensland.

• Ukraine has inducted the World’s Largest Metal Dome encasing the destroyed reactor at Chernobyl Plant.
• The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is a closed nuclear power plant near the abandoned city of Pripyat in northern Ukraine.
• The Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the No. 4 nuclear reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

• Government of India has waived off Basic Customs Duty on products imported for nuclear plants.

4. Flipkart with Axis Bank and Mastercard

• Flipkart has launched a Credit Card ‘Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card’ in a partnership with Axis Bank and MasterCard.
