1. National award for outstanding service in the field of Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug abuse

2. ADB’s GDF Prediction for India

• Asian Development Bank has trimmed its forecast for India’s economic growth in 2019-20 to 5.1%.

2. Caroline Wozniacki to retire

• Tennis Player Caroline Wozniacki will retire after Australian Open 2020.
• Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish professional tennis player. She is a former world No. 1 in singles, the 20th in the Open Era, and the first woman from a Scandinavian country to hold the top ranking position. She finished on top of the rankings in both 2010 and 2011.

3. First Woman Match Referee to officiate men’s ODI match

• Indian match referee GS Lakshmi has become the first woman match referee to officiate a men’s ODI match.
• Earlier in May 2019, she also became the first woman to get appointed onto the ICC International Panel of Match Referees.
