1. Agriculture Development Scheme in Chhattisgarh Under RAFTAAR

An Agriculture Development Scheme has started in Chhattisgarh under RAFTAAR Scheme.
RAFTAAR : Remunerative Approaches For Agriculture and Allied Sectors Rejuvenation.
Aim: To make farming a remunerative economic activity by strengthening efforts of farmers, risk mitigation and promoting agri-business entrepreneurship among them.

1. Gandhi-Mandela Peace Initiative

India and South Africa will host Gandhi-Mandela Peace Initiative at the Imperial, New Delhi.
Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, political leader, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

2. SAARC film festival

Bengali film ‘Nagarkirtan’ has won 4 Awards (‘Best Feature Film’, ‘Best Director’, ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Original Score’) at SAARC film festival 2019.
Nagarkirtan is a 2019 Indian Bengali film written and directed by Kaushik Ganguly. The film stars Riddhi Sen as Parimal, a trans woman from rural Bengal, and Ritwick Chakraborty as Madhu, a flute player from the Kirtaniya town of Nabadwip.

3. Fernando J Corbato passes away

Fernando José “Corby” Corbató was a prominent American computer scientist, notable as a pioneer in the development of time-sharing operating systems.
He was credited with inventing the computer password.
