1. ‘Destination North East’ Festival

• Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the ‘Destination North East’ Festival in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

2. Agro Vision-2019

• The 11th edition of Agro Vision-2019 is inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at Nagpur.

• Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed that National Intelligence Grid or NATGRID will come into operation by 2020.
• National Intelligence Grid is the integrated intelligence grid connecting databases of core security agencies of the Government of India to collect comprehensive patterns of intelligence that can be readily accessed by intelligence agencies.
