Environment Minister Dr.Harsh Vardhan announced that it will be hosted by India on June 5th.

Meghana Srivatsava topped with 499/500 scoring 99.8%.
The total pass percentage increased to 83.01% from 82.02%.

3. Ganeshi Lal appointed as Governor of Odisha

Prof. Ganeshi Lal will replace Governor Satya Pal Malik.
He is currently the President of BJP Disciplinary Committee.

Barbados labour party won all the 30 seats in the Parliament.

They discussed about the cancelled US-N Korea summit.

This comes with the roll out of General Data Protection Regulation in Europe.
The new EU laws hold severe penalties for breaching user privacy.

1. HDFC to offer Digital Loans

Customers can leverage their mutual fund portfolio and avail loans without liquidating their assets.
The loans can vary between Rs.1 lakh to 1 crore with an interest of 11%.

2. Bank deposits grow by 7.61%

The deposits grew to ₹1,13,92,165 cr by May 11,2018.
Bank’s credit grew by 12.64%.

3. Netflix overtakes Disney

Netflix briefly overtook Disney as the world’s most valuable media company.
The market cap touched USD153 bn during intraday trade while Disney stood at USD151.8 bn.

Sports News

1. SRH defeat KKR

SRH defeated KKR in the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2018 to reach the finals.
They will now face 7-time finalists CSK on Sunday.

2. FIFA WC song released

The official song ‘Live It Up’ by Will Smith, Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi has been released/
They will perform it live at the FIFA final.
