1. NTPC with CPCB
- NTPC has signed MoU with Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to set up air quality monitoring stations.
- The Central Pollution Control Board of India is a statutory organisation under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It was established in 1974 under the Water Act, 1974. The CPCB is also entrusted with the powers and functions under the Air Act, 1981.

2. Unified Vehicle Registration Card
- Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to introduce Unified Vehicle Registration Card.
- Madhya Pradesh is also the 2nd state to launch the unified driving license after Uttar Pradesh.
3. Losar festival
- Losar festival was celebrated at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
- The festival is celebrated on the first day of the lunisolar Tibetan calendar also called Tibetan New Year.
4. Geo Imaging Satellite ‘GISAT-1’
- ISRO will launch the Geo Imaging Satellite “GISAT-1”.
- It will be launched by Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota.

- Larsen & Toubro built offshore patrol vessel ICGS Varad which was commissioned into India Coast Guard.
- Larsen & Toubro Limited, commonly known as L&T is an Indian multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was founded by two Danish engineers taking refuge in India.

- Former Indian footballer Ashok Chatterjee has passed away.
- Former India footballer Ashok Chatterjee, who was a part of the country’s bronze-medal winning teams in the Merdeka Cup in 1965 and 1966
2. Khelo India Winter Games
- Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (I/c), Shri Kiren Rijiju has inaugurated the first-ever Khelo India Winter Games in the Union Territory of Ladakh at Leh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir.
- The Union Territory of Ladakh is all set to host the first-ever Khelo India Winter Games.
- Kongdori, Gulmarg from 7th till 11th March and will have participants competing in Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snow Boarding and Snow Shoeing events.
- A total of three winter sporting competitions are being held during the Ladakh leg of Khelo India Winter Games, these are – Open Ice Hockey Championship, Figure Skating, Speed Skating.
3. Commonwealth Shooting and Archery Championship
- Chandigarh, India will host the Commonwealth Shooting and Archery Championships in January 2022.
- The medals from the two events will be counted for ranking of competing nations at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
