4. Hindalco Industries Ltd. acquired Aleris

• Hindalco Industries Ltd. acquired US-based aluminium producer Aleris Corporation.
• The deal is worth of $2.58 billion.

1. Number One ranking of Indian Women’s Compound Archery Team

• Indian Women’s Compound Archery Team Reached World Rank 1.
• The team is six points ahead of the Chinese Taipei team which is second.

2. Mithali Raj became first Indian women cricketer to score 2,000 runs

• Mithali Raj has become the first Indian cricketer in women’s international cricket to score 2,000 runs in T20 International Cricket.
• She is the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team in Tests and ODI. She is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket and the only female cricketer to surpass the 6,000 run mark in WODIs. She is the first player to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs.

3. Tour de france

• Arnaud Demare won 18th Stage of Tour de France 2018.
• Arnaud Démare is a professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI World Team Groupama–FDJ. In 2011 he won the UCI World Under-23 Road Race Championships, and in 2016 he won the Milan–San Remo.
