The National Conference on Coastal Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience 2020 was held in New Delhi.

National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928.
For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.

1. Airtel Payments Bank rolls out AePS

Airtel Payments Bank has launched the Aadhaar enabled payment system (AePS).
AADHAAR Enabled Payment System provides basic financial services (cash deposit, balance enquiry, cash withdrawal and remittance) at low cost access devices (called MicroATMs) maintained at Business correspondents in an inter-operable way.
Airtel Payments Bank is a public limited company with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. The company is a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel. It is the first company in India to receive a payments bank license from the Reserve Bank of India and it became the first live payments bank in the country.

2. HDFC Bank with IndiGo

HDFC Bank has launched co-branded credit card with IndiGo.
The Travel credit card named ‘Ka-ching’- powered by Mastercard.
IndiGo is an Indian low-cost airline headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, India. It is the largest airline in India by passengers carried and fleet size, with a 47.5% domestic market share as of November 2019.

3. New CFO of Axis Bank

Axis Bank has appointed Puneet Sharma as its Chief Financial Officer.

4. New MD and CEO of IndusInd Bank

IndusInd Bank has appointed Sumant Kathpalia as new MD and CEO.
