86.70% of the students passed out of 16 lakh students who appeared for the exam.

2. NIC launches data center in Bhubaneswar

IT Min Ravi Shankar Prasad inaugurated NIC’s 1st data center in eastern India .
The NIC provides technology support for all for govt services and hosts 10,000 websites.

1. Protests in front of EU Council

4,500 pairs of shoes symbolising the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces were laid outside EU Council building in Brussels.
The protest was organized by Avaaz NGO.

2. China testing AI that can grade students

The AI based system can grade students work and even offer suggestions where appropriate.
It can read English and Chinese and interpret general logic and meaning of essays.

3. Colombia to be NATO’s partner

Columbian President formally announced joining North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
It will become the 1st Latin American nation to be a part of the alliance.

1. RCom offers Rs.500cr to Ericsson

RCom is making this move to settle a dispute related to unpaid dues of Rs.1,150 cr.
Ericsson had files insolvency against RCom and 2 of its subsidiaries.

2. Mahindra & Mahindra profit jumps in Q4

They reported a 70.3% YOY rise in its net profit.
The company’s revenue rose 10.47% to Rs.13,307.88 cr.

3. Oro Wealth raises Rs.10 cr

The wealth management startup has raised the funding led by Powerhouse Ventures.
Oro Wealth offers retail investors access to sophisticated investment advice and techniques.

1. Sangeeta Bahl scales Mt.Everest

53-yr old Sangeeta Bahl is the oldest Indian women to scale Mt.Everest.
She conquered 6 of the 7 highest peaks in the world.

2. Warner and Bancroft sign for NT competition

Banned players David Warner and Cameron Bancroft have signed for a limited-overs tournament.
Warner will play 2 one-day matches while Bancroft will play the entire tournament.
