1. Indian National Commission for Cooperation
- HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has chaired the meeting of the Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO in New Delhi.
- Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO is a governmental body formed by the Government of India which functions under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
2. G-20 Presidency in 2022
- India will host the G-20 Presidency in 2022.
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated Rs 100 crore has been allocated for this purpose.

- Kashmiri reporter Yusuf Jameel has received the second edition PEN Gauri Lankesh Award.
- Gauri Lankesh was an Indian journalist-turned-activist from Bangalore, Karnataka. She worked as an editor in Lankesh Patrike, a Kannada weekly started by her father P. Lankesh, and ran her own weekly called Gauri Lankesh Patrike.
4. National Kishore Kumar Samman
- Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman has been presented with Kishore Kumar Samman for 2018 by Madhya Pradesh Government.
- The award carries a cash prize of ₹2 lakh and a citation.
