Article Title: Deceit in the Realm of Conviction
Article Summary
An article based on Spirituality. It starts by explaining that everyone has convictions and a belief system of right and wrong prevails in every society of humans. Principles like honesty, respect, gratitude, and politeness are instilled from the very childhood. But what happens in reality is that
Maya predominates every direction of thought with powerful but false material convictions. Maya can be described as money or the pursuit of materialism.
People are stuck in the mess of material existence and this has lead people to dis-satisfaction as it is the pursuit of the impermanent.
There is no end to the greed for materialistic things and this makes people unhappy. But what is the solution to this?
Lord Krishna clearly states in the Gita that the only way to overcome Maya is to fully surrender to Him (God/Krishna/ a higher power).
