Article Title: Stop bothering the millennials

Article Summary

In this article, the author talks about adulthood and its demarcating age. Expecting teenagers to “grow up” and behave like adults after turning 18 has been the only constant since decades. For the author, to have a definition as to when you move from childhood to adulthood looks increasingly absurd. Scientists say that it is not until 30 that we truly turn into adults.  The author says that the age signifying the start of adulthood was always an arbitrary number, that seemed to lie somewhere after the worst irresponsibility of teenage had passed. And, it is upto the present generations to fix this mess that older generations have left for them. The author says that we must stop bothering about it and that children should be allowed to figure out their trajectory by themselves without having to assign them an arbitrary deadline.
