The answer is 10 years.
“A is 4 times older than B” -> A’s age= 4* B’s age+B’s age;
“A is 4 times as old as B” -> A’s age= 4* B’s age

4 times older means 5 times old.
Five years back
(S-5)=5(m-5)
S-5=5m-25
S-5m=-20
Today, S=3m
Substitute 2 in 1, we get
3m-5m=-20
-2m=20
So m =10.

i guess the answer is 15 not 10.
let migo’s (the dog) present age be x. so Sis = 3(x) [present age] . 5 years ago sis was 4 times as old as migo. So, sis – 5 = 4 (x – 5) . put sis as 3x and get your answer.
